Jessica Peake is a litigation associate with a knack for investigation and discovery. She knows how to ask the right questions of plaintiffs and witnesses in depositions and how to interpret the rules and regulations that apply to specific clients’ matters. Jessica does not take a one size fits all approach to business conflicts. By learning and understanding the unique nuances of each client situation, Jessica can best advise when to negotiate with opposing counsel, participate in mediation, or go to trial.
Jessica’s practice focuses on legal malpractice, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, probate litigation, and construction litigation. She has also worked with clients involving title defects and zoning issues.
Before joining Bernkopf, Jessica was an associate for a Boston-based boutique malpractice firm where she appeared in front of the Superior Court and engaged in trial preparation for health care providers accused of medical malpractice.
Jessica worked as a paralegal at a civil litigation firm before attending law school. As a paralegal, she assisted with all aspects of personal injury, landlord/tenant, mortgage foreclosure, and divorce matters.
