A commercial real estate and business transactional lawyer, Brittany Ling works on multi-million-dollar real estate deals and regularly handles refinances and loan modifications for clients. She is an up-and-coming associate who learns quickly and is frequently asked to assist on a variety of legal matters, including commercial and residential real estate transactions, corporate lease and due diligence review, drafting entity documents, assisting with 1031 exchange deals, and reviewing surveys and title.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States in early 2020, Brittany immediately began to research the available disaster relief programs for homeowners, small businesses, and multi-rental buildings. By following and studying the current trends for disaster relief programs and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, Brittany has quickly developed a reputation as a valuable resource for her colleagues as they guide their clients through these uncertain times.
A former paralegal and writing assistant at Bernkopf Goodman, Brittany utilizes the skills she’s developed to research real estate, wills and trusts, contracts, bankruptcy, and litigation laws as well as organizing and managing hundreds of properties, their loans and entities for estate planning purposes.
Brittany embodies the essence of Southern hospitality. Originally from Texas, Brittany’s upbringing in a small town shaped her optimistic and approachable personality. While Brittany has adopted Boston as her new home since law school, her Southern charm is still very apparent. Her genuine interest in every client and transaction she handles and the high standards and values she applies to every task is appreciated by her Bernkopf Goodman coworkers and clients alike.
In her spare time, Brittany enjoys baking, volunteering for a variety of organizations, and is active in animal welfare causes.
